Color Me Challenge #10 Serving up Hearts

Here's a tray of hearts for you!

Another awesome image from Sassy Cheryl's Designs. Card is for Sassy Cheryl's Color Me Challenge #10. Printed paper is Sugar Rush from BasicGrey.  She's colored with Copic Markers.

Shabby Chic?

I have not done Shabby Chic before!  But I love this stamp from Impression Obsession.  I pulled out some old Scenic Route paper from several years back. I paper pieced the hat and she's colored with Copic Markers. Added some lace, pearls, flowers and did some sanding and distressing.

I am submitting this card to Color Throwdown #126 using colors, early espresso, kiwi kiss, marina mist and old moss.  Love the color combo!

This card I am also using for C4C72...Crazy 4 Challenges #72, shabby chic..

Saturday Already Again

I have no idea how I caught a nasty cold, being I hardly ever leave the house. LOL

I haven't felt much like creating any cards the past few days, but I did do this card for two challenges.

The first challenge is Sunday Sketch & Stamp #45 using their layout.

The second challenge I am submitting to is iCopic#14.  Using Teal, Blue and Moss...what gorgeous colors. Though I found it slightly difficult to get my colors the way I think they should be.

I used Bazzill card stock and the printed paper is from BasicGrey "Urban Prairie" .  I have no idea which company the stamp belongs to.  When I bought it ages ago, I could remember all the images I had and where they came from.  But, I did NOT write it down and now the memory had faded......

Happy Monday

Hope your weekend was grand. Mine was sort of quiet, so I made a few cards.

This one, I will submit to Crazy 4 Challenges C4C71, it's the layout.

Using this cute image "Ducky Day" from Mo's Digital Pencil Too, I will also submit it to Mo's Challenge #66, "A Trip Around the World".
The paper (DP) is from Upsdaisydesigns, card stock from Bazzill, sentiment and flower gems from Hero Arts. The image is colored with Copic markers and colored pencils. Oval and scalloped oval are cut out with dies from Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Here's a Hug!

I think this stamp image is just precious.  I still have my Teddy Bear from when I was really many years ago.

I created this card for Color Throwdown #125, pear pizzaz, kraft and blusing bride, in other words, pear green, tan/lt. brown color, and pink.

The image is from Belles 'n Whistles. DP is from and the card stock is Bazzill. I colored the image with Copic markers! The layout is one I found months ago online, but I did my own little bitty change to it. Thanks for lookin'!

Here's another card today

I made another card using my ages old DP from who knows where!

I think I will perhaps enter this into a Bugaboo challenge.  Bugaboo Stamps has the cutest, funniest digital stamps. I just love them.  I know my family is probably wishing I would use them to make cards for them.  My daughter thinks I should just give her all the cards I make!

So Bugaboo is having it's first birthday, so I did this card using Dottie with her cupcake for this challenge. I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out using the Nestabilities ribbon label. I colored Dottie with Copic Markers.  Thanks for takin' a look.

Happy Friday!

I am loving these card challenges, I feel like I'm being more creative than ever. I have a ton of this yellow, pink and orange paper, so I've been using it like crazy.  I did this using the layout from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC100.  I just love the layout.

The stamp is from Magenta, she's so cute watching all the butterflies. I do not remember where the DP is from, I bought it ages ago, and it has no company printed on it.  Her dress is paper pieced and the rest is colored with Copic markers.

Purple, Green and Orange

I think this card came out so cute, what do you honest!

I did this card for the iCopic Color Challenge #13, Purple, Green and Orange.

The image I used is from Bugaboo Stamps, a digital image. Card-stock is from Bazzill, I almost always use Bazzill card stock, because the colors are so awesome. The DP is Pixie-Licious from Cosmo Cricket. I love this paper so much I bought two pads.  Image is colored with Copic Markers. Flowers cut out with a MFT flower die..I love this die! and ribbon is from "Ribbons and Bow Oh My". The layout is one I found several months back and not really sure where I found it.

Please excuse my photography..I seem to be have some camera troubles.

Here's Your Heart

Here's my latest.

This is for Sassy Cheryl's Designs, Color Me Challenge #10. I am also sending it off to The Sweet Stop, Sketch with a Spin Challenge!

The image is from Sassy Cheryl's Designs. I used the layout sketch from The Sweet Stop Sketch challenge.  The card-stock is from Bazzill,  DP and ribbon are from BoBunny, hearts are cut out with Sizzix hearts die, flowers are cut out with die from My Favorite Things. The hearts and flowers are embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, then lightly sanded. The sentiment is computer generated. Image is colored with Copic Markers!

Challenge #4

Here's my fourth challenge creation for the year!

I am entering this card creation into the Crazy 4 Challenges #70 (C4C70).  This  challenge is to create a card or project that incorporates a "thank you" sentiment.  I computer generated my "thank you" and cut it out with a Nestabilities circle die.

The other challenge I am entering is at one of my all time favorite stamp companies (did I already tell you that?) Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Challenge 61, Fancy Florals.  Finally a chance to use some of  my floral paper stash! I used Raychel...isn't she just the cutest.  That's a thank you kiss she's giving!

Paper is from Bo Bunny, Abbey Road collection. I used mostly Copic Markers with some Prismacolor pencils.
I cut out some of the flowers from the paper and stuck them on, giving one the thank you for its center. I don't know if it shows but I added a little stickles glitter glue to Raychel's eyelids.

Rocks For Sale

My second challenge this week!
Color Throwdown #124; Melon Mambo, Early Espresso and Soft Sky.  I used Copic markers in the closest colors I could find.  I do actually own the Soft Sky ink.  I will be mailing this card off to a young woman in Washington state who is very ill.

Also entering, Challenge 65 -  "Playtime - Using digis of kiddles and their toys" at Mo's Challenge Blog. Well it's Bronte and Bella's Challenge blog.

I am using Mo Manning's digi stamp, Rocks for cute!

Paper is from my stash, I knew I would be able to use all my saved up papers one day....when I was working I had a nice budget for my that I've been unemployed for a year..I hardly spend anything. This is part of the reason I have  become hooked on Digital Stamps..I can afford a few each week! Oh how I would love to nicely support my favorite Crafting Companies again! LOL

I am also entering Sassy Cheryl's Designs,  Color Me Challenge #9, or for this weekusing her image Do Not Disturb While Kissing. So Cute!

Some More Firsts!

I created this card for one challenge and then as I was looking through some other blogs that I just love...well, I found two more to join in on.  All three are firsts for me!
I found the Crazy4Challenges C4C69, and just love the colors for this challenge, so many shades of pink.
I was looking for a layout and found Jen's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT). I really like this sketch and can see myself using it a few more times.
Then as I always do, I checked out one of my favorite stamp companies, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, to see what was going on at her place, and decide I could use my card creation for the Time to Unwind challenge as well.
The is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and her name is Polly, I just love her and all the KKS stamps. I colored Polly with CopicMarkers.  The paper I used is, once again from my stash,  from BoBunny Paris Romance. As always, I used Bazzill solid color card-stock, absolutely my favorite card stock, ever. To cut the circles none other than the awesome Nestabilities from Spellbinders.  Heart dazzles from Hero Arts.

My First Color Throw Down!

I made this card for the Color Throw Down challenge. The colors for this challenge are Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze and Cameo Coral.  Copic markers were used to  color my trusty Stampendous kitty in the flowers stamp.  I think I have used this stamp more than any I have. It lends it self to different occasions. On the challenge blog,, Kristin Bueter offers her digital design paper.  I love this, because I can have lots of this beautiful paper!  I am constantly on the look out for card layouts, because I am frequently in a creative slump and  find they help me to get motivated. The layout  used for this card was found at Skipping Stone Designs.  The sentiment is computer generated. Both the image and sentiment were cut out using Nestabilities circle dies.

First card of the year

This is my first card of the year for 2011.  The image is from Sassy Cheryl's digital images.  She is colored with Copic Markers, red, brown and cream.  I found some paper in my stash drawer that I thought would look great, it's from Scenic Route Paper Company and Creative Imaginations and I have had it for a few years! It's a good thing paper doesn't go bad if it is stored correctly.  I think the card came out pretty good.  I am submitting this card to two online challenges, Sassy Cheryl's Designs and iCopic challenge #11.  So here is one of my New Years resolutions started!

Happy New Year 2011

There are several New Years resolutions on my list for 2011, and yes a diet is one of them!
I hope to post on my blog regularly instead of intermittently.

I will read for at least 30 minutes each day, already have that done for today, started with Patricia Cornwell's newest book, "Port Mortuary".  I have signed up and created my library with "LibraryThing" online, it's a cool place to log the books you've read. You can even write reviews. You can interact with other readers as well.

I will join in on card challenges with several of my favorite companies and blogs...hopefully that will go well.  And yes, I will be going against my long time stamping buddies and using "cutsie" stamps.  Cutsie works for publication and challenges.  I have given this a lot of thought...and must do it! LOL
