This is a Harris Hawk that has been hanging around behind my house. They are a chocolate brown with white on the tail. They hunt in family groups and I noticed two of them farther out in a saguaro.

I made this card for Shareacard.org. A wonderful organization that sends cards to people who are seriously and terminally ill..to brighten up their days. At Christmas time the org does a massive mailing to everyone ill person that signed up for the year. There is no limit to the number of cards that you can send and they do not even have to be handmade.

For this card I used both the sketch and palette from My Time Made Easy. Pretty Patterns #28 and Pretty Palette #28. The challenge colors are Teal, Yellow and Gray. This card is for the Bookendz Book Club. For the month of September we read "The Language of Flowers: A Novel" by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. This is an excellent read. As I am totally NOT good a book reviews, that's all I can say...excellent story and characters. Every flower has a meaning. I chose to use Orange Roses. The meaning..Fascination.

I made this card for Catch the Bug Challenge from Bugaboo. This challenge is called "Feeling Punchy".

I cut the Bugaboo image out with my oval die from Spellbinders and the flowers are cut out with a flower die from My Favorite Things. The center of the flowers were punched out with a small, old fashioned hole punch.

After two weeks of computer failure, a new computer! So nice. I finally made it to my craft room for one quick card. Not some of my better work though, I went into my craft room for solace, I had just received the news that my Daughter-in-Law's beautiful, vibrant 24 year old sister lost her battle with cancer. I had been sending Vanessa cards to cheer her, so with weepy eyes I came up with this card for My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern #21 and I use the cute cupcake mouse from Delightful Inspiration Designed 2 Delight.

Beautiful orchid image is from Flourishes and is colored with Copic markers, cut out and attached to an oval. When I saw this stamp I just had to have it. Somehow this year I was able to get my orchid to bloom, it had been only leaves for two years! It bloomed with a dozen flowers and lasted over three months!

Okay...so my colors are off again! This is for Color Throwdown #150...certainly celery, taken with teal, rose red and pretty in pink. Soooo my teal is blue.....go figure. LOL

This card is for My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette #17, white, lt. blue, orchid and navy. I also used the current Pretty Patterns #17 from MTME.

So the camera just messes up the colors. The colors on this card look much nicer in reals....honest. The stamp is from Penny Black and colored with little ink pads and stamped. The orchid card stock is from Bazzill and printed blues and orchid are from My Time Made Easy..Gardening Greats collection.

Image is from Designed 2 Delight, a weekly challenge. I paper pieced the flip flops, the water is colored with Twinkling H2O's, so it's sparkly. The starfish and sand are done with Copic markers. the DP is old stuff from my stash.
